חני נוימן (אוניברסיטת חיפה)- רווחה ועבודה סוציאלית

דר' חני נוימן Ph.D. הינה חברת סגל בכיר בבית הספר לעבודה סוציאלית באוניברסיטת חיפה. עובדת סוציאלית קהילתית, מנחת קבוצות מוסמכת, מרצה ובעלת ניסיון מקצועי רב בפרקטיקה בתחום התערבויות קהילתיות במצבי לחץ ומשבר.

תחומי המחקר העיקריים של דר' נוימן הם קהילות ושינוי מדיניות. מחקריה עוסקים בין היתר בהערכה פסיכו סוציאלית של קהילות המתמודדות עם מצבי לחץ ומשבר תוך בחינת מעורבותם של אנשי המקצוע לחיזוק הקהילות ולהעצמתן. במחקרה דר' נוימן מתמקדת בהערכת השינוי הנדרש במדיניות, ביעילות תהליכי קבלת החלטות בהתערבויות מקצועיות ובמעורבותם של אנשי מקצוע בתהליכי עיצוב מדיניות חברתית. מנקודת מבט זו, עבודת המחקר שלה היא יישומית, המיועדת לטפל בבעיות חברתיות בקהילה ולקדם שינויים חברתיים הנדרשים במצבי חירום קהילתיים.  דר' נוימן פרסמה מאמרים בנושאים אלו בכתבי עת מובילים בעולם ומנחה סטודנטים לתארים מתקדמים בתחומים אלו.

לצד פעילותה האקדמית דר' נוימן עבדה שנים רבות בפרקטיקה בתחום. בין יתר תפקידיה היא עסקה באופן ישיר כעובדת סוציאלית קהילתית בהתערבויות עם קהילות במצבי חירום, לחץ ומשבר, רכזה תחום קהילה והתנדבות בשירותי הרווחה הציבוריים, הנחתה קבוצות בנושא וליוותה אנשי מקצוע, בימים אלו משמשת כיועצת בהתנדבות בנושאים אלו בקהילות שונות.
